I started in this industry by owning a successful paint and drywall company. Ryan and I started C-U Under Construction together after working on a few jobs and realizing we have similar values, goals, and work ethics. I love what I do every day, especially working with our teams. My wife, Marla, and I live in Tolono with our family. We have five children and 3 grandchildren. In my spare time, I enjoy traveling to Colorado, hiking, camping at Lake Shelbyville, and cooking on my smoker.
I grew up on a farm in Gilman, IL where I earned my work ethic from an early age. I am an entrepreneur at heart and always operate with a vision for the future in mind. I created this company with my partners so that I can build and transform spaces and surround myself with awesome people. I enjoy boating, snowboarding, hiking, and anything outdoors with my family. I live with my wife, Jessica, and our three kids (plus a dog, a few cats, & chickens) in Tolono, Illinois. My faith is the most important thing in my life and I pray to lead in a way that pleases God.
After moving to the area almost 20 years ago to attend U of I, I decided to stay and have now lived here over half my life. I love the C-U area and the family we have built at C-U Under Construction. I now live in Urbana with my girlfriend Lauren and our dog Bailey. Go Illini!
I have been a licensed plumber for over 10 years. I joined the C-U team to start C-U Plumbing in 2013 and have enjoyed building it with my partners to what it is today. I enjoy working with our talented team of plumbers and staff as well as the other trades we have in-house. My wife Mindia and I live in Villa Grove with our three children. Our kids are very active in softball, football, volleyball, golf, and basketball. I enjoy being involved with their teams as a coach, volunteer, or spectator. Our family enjoys being very active outdoors with snowmobiling, water sports, and boating.
I am a managing partner at C-U Trade Services and continuously strive to create an environment where our team can build a career they enjoy. I want to help people gain knowledge of the trades and grow in their careers as well as their personal lives.
I am married to Melinda Breen and have 3 boys Wyatt- 13yrs old, Korbin- 10yrs old, and Sawyer- 5yrs old. We enjoy yearly vacations to Myrtle Beach together, year-round sporting events with the boys, and hunting and fishing.
Jeremy is a lifelong native of central Illinois and resides in Champaign with his wife Leslie and two children Dean and Lyla. He has an associate’s degree from Parkland College in Construction Design and Management and over 15 years of experience working in the construction and trades industry. In his free time, he enjoys camping, boating, fishing, yoga, and cooking Indian cuisine.
